Gaijin Gunpla

It seems like I’ve been doing a lot of plamo this month but looking back I don’t have much in the way of completed projects. This trend will probably continue through the summer and up until the deadline for the Gauntlet of the Apocalypse.  This 1/60 scale kit sure takes up a lot of time.  I did manage to finish one kit so it is…

No longer on the Work Table

RG MS-06S Zaku II Char Aznoble Custom

In the beginning of June I found the dry weather I needed to spray the flat top-coat. I find myself going more and more with a flat coat on my kits but that just means I have to bide my time while the wet weather is here. Someone pointed out that my Zaku II is missing the piece for its mouth. I can’t believe I didn’t notice. How embarrassing. By the time the post went up and the comments came in the kit was long packed away. I will at some points unearth the box and look for that piece.

Now for the fun part. This is where I list what is…

On the Work Table

So far so good on the Courage project. I have finished most of the red painting which has been time consuming. Once that is all done the pace will pick up. I still shudder when I think about the amount of work I have left to do. Is it too early to start discussing an extension on the deadline, Buster?

MG 00 Raiser

This guy is still on the work table because I am contemplating doing a kit bash with the Qan[T].  I posted a pic on the Gaijin Gunpla facebook page of the two kits mixed together and it looks pretty good.  It doesn’t look like it would be overly complicated but of course things can change.

MG Epyon

I love this kit and right now I can’t decide whether I want to fix this up as a straight build, paint it into something else, or buy a second kit and do both.

The last kit still actively on the work table is the

MG Figurerise Heat Metal

This guy got set aside when the 00 Raiser showed up and was kept there because of the MG Epyon.  Amusing to think he may still have a backseat thanks to my plans for both of those kits.

Under the Work Table

I’ve got other kits just sitting waiting to be built such as the Wing Gundam EW version, Force Impulse, V-Dash, all of which I want to start, however there is one kit sitting just under my work table that I am really excited about.  I can’t give out the details yet but I will give you a hint; It’s another PG.

Coming to the Work Table

There’s not much in the way of Future releases that have me eagerly awaiting release days but there’s one that I want to get on as soon as it’s out. The MG Delta Plus, of course!  And I will say here now, that the MG 00 Seven Sword doesn’t interest me the way the Raiser did.  To each their own, I guess. But I am sure something will catch my eye once I see it in person.  That’s always the way it is.

I thought someone would ask about that. The barzam is under the Work Table at least until Courage and the rainy season are finished.

Don’t paint the feet red! You’ll ruin the effect. Interested to see which PG you have under the table… What could it be?
