Gaijin Gunpla

Many people have asked what I picked up at the Gunpla Expo. Well, I have to be honest here and say that the majority of what I picked up was for friends who were unable to make the Expo and I even picked up some for some of my work associates.

However, don’t think I went away empty handed. I did get myself a little somethi’ sumtin.

The Real Grade Strike Rouge!

Okay. Yes, it is the exact same kit as the RG Aile Strike, which is just awesome, but this one comes in the Rouge colors and by that I mean pink(?)!

Here’s a glimpse at a bag of runners.

You can see it comes with Rouge markings.

Also, the clear parts are green.

What else separates it from the Aile? Here’s the included sheet which shows you.

It tells you where to put the Rouge markings, as well as what pieces to use and what not to use.

They actually give you two A runners telling you not to use some parts of the old one and instead use the new one. However, when you build the Striker Pack you are supposed to use the old runner. How boring. (More on that next post.)

For now, I’ve got this to show you.

The gold on the arms and legs is Gundam marker. I abhor the foil stickers used for that part of the kit.

It’s built but I am still adding some details, markings, and panel lines. I’ll have some better quality shots to show once it’s done. This kit is definitely getting me excited for next week’s RG ZGMF-X10A Freedom Gundam release! I can’t wait!

      Hi Alvin,

It’s not a regular item so HLJ doesn’t have it in stock but some online stores seem to be getting their hands on them.
