Gaijin Gunpla

Yes, I’m back. Unfortunately. While my wife and daughter enjoy another two weeks in paradise I had to hop on a boat and make the voyage back to Tokyo. It’s not that I don’t like my little home in Saitama but, in all honesty, I would rather be here!

I spent the last week doing nothing but playing with my daughter, helping the in-laws, and swimming in the ocean. Doesn’t sound like much but it was all I needed. Despite the mound of Gunpla I had waiting for me at home I just didn’t want to leave. Perhaps I’ll write more about my Chichijima experiences later.

What I wanted to write about this time was something that was waiting for me when I arrived back on mainland Japan. There was a large envelope from Australia addressed to me and inside that envelope was this.

Saweeet! Gundam Beginner had sent me a little gift.

You may recognize the great artwork from a previous post of mine.

Well, now it looks like Gundam Beginner is taking his skills and creating some interesting clothing for Gunpla fans. Be sure to head over to his site and check it out!

As for me, I’ll be making my way back into Gunpla starting with the RG Justice (still got some decals and some things I want to do), and the MG Blitz (gotta paint scheme already and just need to prep), but with no family around I may spend more time than I normally do in front of my television.
