Despite me warning myself to be careful of this very thing, I put the decals that were meant for the side of the shoulder on the top of the shoulder. I also lost a decal somewhere for the foot and replaced it with the 02 marking.
Did you paint this or just do the top coat? Regardless, I like the textured look the clear coat gives it, reminds me of the old paint on worn metal look we had on the bradleys I worked with.
I painted only some parts of it but topcoated everything. Unfortunately, it was quite windy the day I tried to spray the flat coat but I felt I had to get it done and didn’t want to wait so there are some blemishes in the topcoat.

which paints do you use on most of your guns is it just he gun metal or what ?
Yes, I usually use gun metal for weapons and often frames.
