Gaijin Gunpla

I’ve built all the SEED Master Grade kits that released this past year but ironically haven’t yet built an MG of the Strike. All of that changes now that Bandai has released the 1/100 MG Aile Strike Gundam Ver RM. I saw this guy at the Shizuoka Hobby Show last week and I waited eagerly since that day to finally have it in my hands.

Box art looks pretty sweet but what interests everyone more is what is inside the box.

Wait. What’s that there?

There was another surprise inside the box for me.

I wonder what these are for.

As if the box art wasn’t sexy enough check out the manual.

I love the white backgrounds used on many manuals.

Last page, like usual, has the marking guide.

Looking forward to breaking open the plastic bags tonight!

The cables are for the stand, check the pics on the box – the have connection cables there

As much as that looks an awesome kit, I’ve built various forms of Strike too many times now. But looking forwards to seeing the end result, along with some comparison thoughts to the RG version.

I would much rather see a comparison with the old MG.

I can’t tell by any of the images, but are the decals water slides or just plain stickers? I see there are dry transfers, but they don’t seem to be the major decals of the kit.

Can’t wait to get mine (got the Launcher/Sword parts coming as well).
