Gaijin Gunpla

I had this delivered to me a over a month ago, maybe, and had to put it aside as a rush of sweet kits started arriving. Made me wonder why I wanted it in the first place. Oh, ya. I remember now. It’s all gold!

For those who don’t know, there are two HG kits in the set, the G Gundam and the Master Gundam. Both have been released as regular HGs a few years back. The HGFC G Gundam is one of my favourite High Grade kits and the only HG I’ve done considerable modifications to (I consider them considerable, anyway.)

The Master Gundam came with a horse. Alas, no horse is in this box but if there was, and it was gold, you could expect the price to be much higher than it was.

Gold polycaps!

While the runners appear to be the same as normal the stickers were made, or combined I guess, just for this set.

More gold!

And instead of getting two instruction manuals you get this unfolding manual with one Gundam per side.

And Bandai threw, or was it left?, in a bonus for me!

I was a bit shocked and thought there was some kind of insect in there but it appears to be a bunch of the gold finish just solidified into one string.

Umm, Yuck.

And here I thought you had let yourself get to the point of gunpla addiction where glue simply oozes out of your hand, accumulating in the bottom of the box.
Let us know about how bad the nubs are on this, that’s something I never liked about post-release chrome plating.
