I love the 1/60 PG Unicorn Gundam 2 Banshee Norn enough that I wanted to kind of show it off once I had it in its Banshee mode with the added armed amor vn/bs expansion set. However, posting a mini-gallery may show off the kit overall some readers may want some more information about what they are seeing.

Did you catch the gold I added to the back of the legs?

No? Here’s a closer view.

Other than that and the gold I sprayed on the large backpack I didn’t make any customisations or modifications though I did use the stickers from the PG Banshee and PG Unicorn to add markings to the Armed Armor VN and BS.

These make it match up perfectly with the rest of the Banshee Norn.

But how do they work? Well, like the Master Grade Banshee the change happens in the arms. You simply replace a couple of armour pieces on the lower arm with larger pieces from the expansion set.

You can transform the large rail-gun type weapon on the right arm by first popping out a side piece.

Swing it around but be careful because the hand barely fits into the gap. I had to tuck the fingers into some awkward looking positions.

Then that side contraption fits into place hiding the hand altogether.

The giant claw attached to the other arm opens up to reveal the teeth at the end of each finger.

Be careful when playing with this for a number of reasons. The first is that the fingers will just pop off while you’re moving them around.

But the other reason, which worries me more, is that the weight of this giant hand pulls down on the arm creating a gap where the arm connects to the shoulder joint.

If you’re not careful that enter arm comes off and if you’ve got the LED built in there it could put a lot of weight on the wires.

It’s a cool set and it’s great to have those extras but I prefer the Norn look to the regular Banshee look and some time soon I’ll be removing the Armed Armor parts and putting them away for another day while enjoying the Norn in its PG magnificence.

Would you say that the claws on the PG Expansion is more articulate than the MG?

Do they have to be equipped onto the banshee to be displayed? Like if theyre not on the banshee theyll just be two halves and not a whole piece?

Good question, I personally have no idea, but to add to it: Can they be displayed on the base that comes with the Banshee?
