Gaijin Gunpla

A lot has changed in the last month. I’ve upped and changed things again. Important things. Life things. I am once again living in a country I’ve never been to before. I hope this doesn’t become a habit. Speaking of habits, I’ve got one that is hard to kick; Gunpla! Whilst waiting for my models to be shipped, the slow and cheap (and dangerous) way, I was left twiddling my thumbs with no plamo to snip. That has changed now that I’ve got my hands on a new, and very much-hyped kit, the HGUC Barzam! I’ll ease my way back into it (until my big kits arrive!)

So what’s the Barzam all about?

Unlike many of the HGs being released recently (or maybe not so recently) the Barzam doesn’t share parts with any other kit.

All Barzam, all the time.

Still there are some interesting things when it comes to the runners such as the dual runner labeling.

Or where they decide to put the runner number.

If that little clear section of runner breaks off how will I know which runner it is?

Only a few stickers for this kit.

Here are the manual shots.

It is a really sweet looking kit. I had thought that we would see a RE/100 of this MS but maybe that’s coming later. Maybe I’m lucky it’s released as an HG kit first. I may just be able to assemble it in the small amounts of free time I have between doing all kinds of paperwork and assembling furniture for my new apartment.

Back in the saddle!

I was worried there for a moment. Syd I thought you were gone for good just like gundamguy’s blog.

That’s quite fast to have a Barzam in your hand considering where you live now,
I live in Indonesia and I’m still waiting for my HGBF SCHWARZ RITTER to arrive

    Hello Syd,

it’s nice to see you around here again!
So have you settled things (at least a bit)?

I suggest AC/DC’s “Back in business” as the soundtrack for your Gunpla reprise, seems fit! 😀
